Every week in The Oban Times we carry a photograph taken at a recent shinty match in which the position of the ball has been hidden.
For £1 you have 20 opportunities to place a cross where you think the ball may be to win the prize.

RULES SUMMARY (See the Oban Times for full rules)
We have removed the shinty ball from the photograph opposite. Now look carefully at the position of the players and use your skill and judgement to place a cross at the exact point where you think the centre of the ball was. You may have a maximum of 20 attempts on the coupon printed in "The Oban Times" at a cost of £1. If you wish to have more attempts, you must enter on separate coupons. The game starts with a jackpot of £500 and will increase by £50 per week until it is won outright. To win the jackpot, the centre of your cross must be in the exact centre of the ball. Prizes will be shared between those submitting correct entries. If no correct entry is received, two ‘near miss’ prizes of £25 will be awarded.
